VSS Help to Keep Autolaunch Moving

Industry leading ventilation hygiene, system surveying and kitchen extract cleaning company, Ventilation Surveys and Services (VSS) Limited has recently undertaken a clean at Autolaunch Ltd in County Carlow, Ireland in order to remove explosive aluminium particles from the ductwork.

The ductwork cleaning took place in the Metal Finishing area, a vital location within the Autolaunch’s premises. As Autolaunch manufactures automotive tooling for a vast number of the world’s most recognisable automotive brands, it is essential that ductwork within this location complies with industry regulations.

VSS was called upon to inspect the ductwork systems due to its innovative approach to on-site problem-solving and the specialist equipment that VSS uses, which is essential for work such as this. After supplying and fitting access panels in suitable sections of the ductwork, VSS then carefully removed the explosive aluminium particles with Hepa Filter Vacuums. These explosive particles originated from grinding the panels to the appropriate finish required.

VSS will return every six months for ongoing maintenance work to maintain the ductwork’s safe condition and ensure that it remains within the TR19 standard.

Whether you are a systems designer, building owner or responsible for Health & Safety compliance within your company, you will need to ensure that you are completely familiar with the ductwork maintenance guidelines which apply to your industry.  One call to VSS will help you to understand the regulatory requirements for your business.
